Location was just right, for getting out of York, or going into the city, either walking or one of the frequent buses. Have to say the rooms felt a little tired. Room service when asked to clean room, wasn't the best. Reception staff were lovely. There's a great pub The Dormouse about 3 minutes walk away. It has a great selection of drinks behind the bar, and good menu for lunch and evening. Customer service was brilliant too, making for a great experience.
An absolute fantastic stay, nothing is too much trouble. Free car parking. It's a short journey into York. The staff are so helpful and welcoming. The breakfast is truly amazing. The bed is so comfy and big. The room has everything you need. Unlimited hot drinks you can prepare yourself. 24 hr reception. Can't recommend York North Premier Inn enough!
Room very clean,Bed comfortable. Parking very good.Excellent location,on bus route. Breakfast good value,delicious. No Restaurant on site as Dormouse was having Building work,however there are several Restaurants, Fish and Chips near by, you need a car though. Takeaway Delivery Available. We stayed before when The Dormouse was open,it was excellent. So hopefully will be open soon.
Quiet and good location. Bus stop 3 mins away with regular buses in to town. You can walk to the centre easily (about 30-40mins). Nice little pub (the door mouse) on site. Premier Inn Restaurant refurbished Jan 2026, rooms all refurbished Feb 2025. Rooms very clean and tidy. Free parking.
Room clean and comfortable, check in easy (reception staff very friendly), location great. Breakfast was absolutely abysmal. Undercooked bacon, anemic sausages, and never had black pudding you could actually squash flat before. Awful.
Great location with the park and ride just up the road. Lovely clean room. Good parking and the breakfast was really good. The pub opposite is nothing to do with the premier inn, so no meal deals available, but it was lovely and the food was great.
Caitlin on reception was welcoming and friendly,offering help with our bags. Room had everything we needed,maybe a bit smaller than we've had before,but well presented. Location great for our visit and we saw a squirrel and fox-not at the same time. Would recommend.
Easy check in, quick, polite , friendly welcome. Good space in room, nice and quiet area. Hot, powerful shower. Downsides, room was a little tired and TV was hardly usable due to its positioning. Lovely hot fresh plentiful breakfast.
